Extension of Account Expiration Date

This procedure can be taken only for a Faculty/Staff Account issued by means of application for a Temporary Account, Type A.

  • The system automatically sends an Email message, "Notice of Account Expiration", to the Main Email Address of each user and the Responsible Person on Campus, about 45 days (in the middle of February) prior to the Account Expiration date (March 31) described in the Account Notification Letter. (This message will not be sent to those who do not configure the setting to receive it.)
  • When you receive the Email message "Notice of Account Expiration", you need to log in the Kobe University Integrated User Management System (KUMA) by the expiration date and check the Account information displayed in order to select whether to extend or terminate the use of your Account.
  • When you select to extend the expiration date, your Account Expiration is extended until the end of next fiscal year. The Account Notification Letter is not reissued. When you select to terminate the use of your Account, your Account will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
  • Only those users who applied for an Account to be issued can take this procedure.
